Instruction for Use

SURFACE PREPARATION

Prepare and lay the fresh concrete as per requirements. Note that the concrete must be a minimum of G25 or compressive strength of 25 N/mm².

After the concrete has been screeded, consolidated and further level by bull float. Ensure that any free water present has evaporated or removed in order to proceed to application.

APPLICATION

A 10 – 12mm thick layer of pebblestone (5 bags pebbles ≈ 100 kg; 1 bag OPC ≈ 50 kg) will then be installed and bonded to the concrete base and/or screed base. Use a steel pool trowel to lay and trowel the mix pebbles onto the surface.

When the surface can stand the body’s weight, wash and remove the cement slurry by strip in order to expose the pebbles. A soft brush or sponge with clean water can be used on the same day.

WASHING - SW1.0 Cleaner

After 7 days of curing, clean the pebblestone surface thoroughly with a high-pressure water jet (preferably).

Dilute 1 part SW1.0 to 2 parts of water for the cleaning process. While the surface is still wet, apply the diluted cleaner by using a watering can. Use a stiff brush for this process to remove the cement film on the pebblestone. Ensure all the area is thoroughly clean. Repeat the process, if required.

SEALING

After the floor is dried, apply MASTERPAV Acrylic Sealer series.
