DECORATIVE MIRCO OVERLAY SYSTEM
MASTERPAV Decorative Micro Overlay System is a polymer-modified cementitious system that is specifically designed to enhance the appearance of both interior and exterior spaces. The system is designed to be as thin as 3mm. Create a seamless surface with this highly durable and versatile system to elevate the visual appeal of the surrounding spaces.
The MASTERPAV ET100 Exterion Texture is a polymer-modified cementitious mixture (PMC) specifically designed for both interior and exterior flooring applications. This system is composed of a coloured dry mix and a polymer emulsion. This product is ideal for resurfacing both old and new concrete floors, including stamped concrete surfaces. This is a spray-on system. MASTERPAV ET100 Exterion Texture is not limited to floors; it can also be used to cover non-cementitious vertical surfaces such as plasterboards, and plywood.

BASE SLAB (BY OTHERS)
1) The existing base concrete slab receiving MASTERPAV ET100 Exterion Texture shall be designed to withstand all structural, thermal, and mechanical stresses and loads that occur during its service. The existing base slab shall be screeded to its falls and cross falls.
2) If the moisture reading is found to be more than 5% and above, a moisture barrier is required before the installation of the system.
SURFACE PREPARATION
1) The concrete surface to receive MASTERPAV ET100 Exterion Texture shall preferably be by mechanical scrabbling to achieve a concrete surface profile (CSP) 4–5 as recommended by ICRI.
2) The concrete surface shall be thoroughly clean and free from any debris or dust with a high-pressure cleaning or vacuum machine.
SURFACE PRIMING
1) The clean surface should be primed with MASTERPAV E4 Emulsion diluting with water at a ratio of 1:1.
It can be applied with a roller or brush.
2) Additional coats may be required if the coat applied is absorbed fast.
3) Allow the primer to dry or become tack-free before adding any other additional coats.
BASECOAT: MASTERPAV DF200 BASECOAT
1) Allow the primer to dry and prepare for the mixing process.
2) Add 4.0 liters of MASTERPAV E4 Emulsion to a clean 20L plastic pail.
3) Add 20kg MASTERPAV DF200 Basecoat dry mix slowly while mixing the liquid at
500–600 rpm for 1–2 minutes or until homogenous by using a mechanical mixer.
4) The mixed materials are then poured out and trowed on until finished.
**Recommended usage is 2kg/m2/mm thick for basecoat. The recommendation will depend on the floor substrate; the maximum allowable thickness is 5mm ONLY. It is also recommended that the surface temperature does not exceed 35°C during the works.
(OPTIONAL) TAPPING & DESIGN
1) After the base coat has dried out, normally within 24 hours, clean the surface and commence the required pattern & design with stencils or filament tape.
2) It is recommended that the tapping & design work is done for the proposed day’s work of the MASTERPAV DF100 Resurfacing.
SPRAY COAT: MASTERPAV DF100 RESURFACING
1) Add 4.5 – 5.0 litres of MASTERPAV E4 Emulsion into a clean 20 litre plastic pail.
2) Slowly mix while adding the 20 kg MASTERPAV DF100 Resurfacing dry mix into the pail. The recommended mixing speed is 500-600 rpm.
3) Mix for 1 – 2 minutes or until homogenous and allow 1 minute for the materials to settle down.
4) The mixed materials are then poured into a hopper gun and sprayed to finish.
5) When the 1st coat has dried out, generally within 1 to 2 hours, apply the 2nd coat.
6) If desired texture, tamp down the spray coat with a clean trowel. Always wipe clean the trowel after each tamp down.
7) Upon completion of the spray coats, generally within 1 to 2 hours, remove the stencil or filament tape on the same day. Remove all loose materials.
8) Where required, light sanding is performed with sanding stone to remove all protruded materials on the surface.
**(Recommended usage is approximately 1.0 – 1.2 kg/m2 per coat).
It is also recommended that the surface temperature does not exceed 35°C during the works.
(OPTIONAL) SECONDARY COLOURANT: MASTERPAV WB100 COLOR STAIN
Where required for a dual-tone finishing, it is recommended to apply a secondary highlight colorant (color stain) on top of the main sprayed coating. It is best to apply the secondary colorant after the main sprayed coating is in tack-free condition. Tack-free drying time is subject to environmental conditions.
SEALER APPLICATION
1. Allow the system to set a minimum of 24 hours before applying any sealer.
2. Apply 2 coats of MASTERPAV AS40 Heavy Duty Acrylic Sealer.
3. Allow the first coat to dry before applying the 2nd coat.
4. After sealing it is recommended that the sealed surface shall be protected from traffic.
RECOMMENDATION & SUGGESTION
1) Before applying any finish coat on top of an outdoor application, allow MASTERPAV DF100 Resurfacing at least 24 hours (1 day) for curing.
2) Before applying any sealer (on top of the indoor application, allow MASTERPAV DF100 Resurfacing to cure for a minimum of 48–72 hours (2 - 3 days).
