PACKAGING

Base Preparations 

a)The concrete surface to receive the MASTERPAV WB 5.0 Acrylic Sealer shall be free of all contaminants (paints, glues, non- acrylic sealers, curing agents, efflorescence, chemical contaminants, rust, algae) that could affect the adhesion. Remove any grease by detergent or alkaline etch. Loosely bound particles can be removed by air blower. 

b)All cracks are to be rectify before actual application. 

c)New concrete shall be allowed to cure for at least 28 days before application of sealer.

Mixing

a)Shake well before using. Light agitation helps to homogenize slight separation during the long storage. 

Application 

a)Applied by roller, brush or pump sprayer. Ensure a sufficient material is applied evenly over the entire surface to ensure maximum penetration. 

b)Apply 1st coat of WB 5.0 by roller/pump sprayer followed by back rolling using dry roller to remove any flooding on the surface & aid the penetration. Do not leave any roller mark on the surface as it might cause whitening appearance after dry.

c)Wait the sealer to completely dry before applying the 2nd coat using same method (+back rolling).

d)Allow sealer to dry for 24 hours for light foot traffic and at least 7 days for heavy vehicle. 

Protection

The coated surface should be protected from:

a)Foot traffic for minimum 24 hours

b)Water/rain for minimum 24 hours

c)Vehicle traffic for minimum 7 day 

Cleaning

a)All application tools must be cleaned with clean water immediately after use.
